St.Patty's Day Style

Dressing for a holiday can be tricky- you don't want to ignore it completely, but you don't want to be dubbed "that girl" who looks like a walking shamrock (unless that's your goal, in which case, you do you girl). I'm here to help each kind of girl: first, the office appropriate girl, acknowledging the holiday but not to the extreme, the happy medium casual outfit, and the all-out walking shamrock. Here are my picks for your St. Patrick's Day style, so have fun, whether you're Irish or not!

Office Appropriate: While you wish you were out day-drinking with your friends, you're stuck at the office. So if you can't live the life, at least dress the part. Subtle green pops in your outfit (i.e: the blazer, the shoes and a very light green pant) will give you a classic, yet spirited look.

Happy Medium: This outfit is perfect for school, a parade or a day with friends. Its comfy casual and looks like the luck of the Irish, without letting the whole world know that you're a "Sassy Irish Lassie!" or available for a kiss.

Walking Shamrock: You are Irish, and you are proud. This look is for the shameless, passionate Irish gal who is ready to celebrate the day with a few drinks (and probably a lot of kisses).

  1. Ahh I love the St. Patty's theme!! I definitely think this is one holiday that is appropriate to go all out for with the outfits. The green is so refreshing so see after months on winter colors like black and grey! The mint plaid scarf is my favorite piece!
